Students from Huai Nam Yen School in Mae Suai District, Chiang Rai province, won the championship and runner-up titles at the International Robotics Olympiad 2019 Bangkok, Thailand.

On July 22, 2019, reporters reported that between July 20-21, 2019, a robotics team from Ban Huai Nam Yen School, Wawee Subdistrict, Mae Suai District, Chiang Rai Province, consisting of Miss Kanyasuda Panasrijinda, Miss Ketsara Koyyeoh, Miss Saowarin Wuiyue, and a team of teachers led by Mr. Yothin Pongsanit, Mr. Sittichok Saepran, Mr. Ratchanon Wanpen, and Miss Supalinee Khunkhaian, represented Thailand in the International Robotics Olympiad 2019 at The Hub, Zeer Rangsit Shopping Center, Pathum Thani Province. The school won both the championship and runner-up titles at the International Robotics Olympiad 2019 Bangkok, Thailand, held on July 20-21, 2019. Over 500 teams from Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, Shanghai, Liaoning, and the Philippines participated in the competition. Last year in Hong Kong, the school won the runner-up title in the relay race, but this year they improved and secured both the championship and runner-up positions, achieving the best time since the competition began, creating a sensation at the event.
