Manufactured using innovative technology that seamlessly combines Portland cement with Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) (non-flammable grade). EPS is a white material in the center of the brick, consisting of 2% plastic surrounded by up to 98% air. Because of this, EPS acts as an excellent thermal insulator, making Cool Block bricks ideal for construction in hot climates.
Coolblock (COOL BLOCK) Insulated bricks are the latest innovation in wall construction, widely used in Europe. They are made from Portland cement with a flame-retardant Expanded Polystyrene (EPS/Styrofoam) insulation core, offering superior heat resistance. This makes them ideal for Thailand's hot, humid, and rainy climate. With the lowest thermal conductivity of only 0.0829 W/m.K and a water absorption rate of less than 9.30%, buildings constructed with Coolblock are significantly cooler than conventional buildings. Furthermore, they help reduce problems with paint chipping and mold growth caused by humidity, especially during heavy rain.
