Yothafoam, the leading construction foam manufacturer in Thailand, launched its brand in 2008. However, to trace its true origins before the Yothafoam brand, the first construction foam products manufactured and sold were those of Asbestolux (patterned printing) and Polysis Board, which were first produced and sold in 1973. Counting from those first products to the present day, that marks approximately half a century since their inception. While Asbestolux (patterned printing) is no longer produced and distributed, Polysis Board continues to be manufactured and sold under the name "Polyboard." Due to its popularity, it has been continuously developed to keep pace with modern times. Produced by combining the main material of EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam with various construction board materials currently used, Polyboard is a ready-made construction panel distinguished by its excellent thermal insulation, moisture resistance, and sound absorption properties—qualities not found in typical prefabricated construction panels.
Following the successful launch of our first product in 1973, which achieved sales exceeding millions of baht, demonstrating its recognized quality in the construction industry, our success has led to the creation of a diverse range of innovative products. We utilize both domestic and international technologies in our manufacturing process. Furthermore, we prioritize research and testing of our construction products to international standards, aiming for continuous improvement in quality. All our construction foam products are designed to meet the diverse lifestyles and needs of consumers across all eras. The accompanying image illustrates the long history of our construction foam products. The color of the text indicates that Group 1, displayed in green, represents products still in production and distribution, while Group 2, displayed in gray, represents products under development for future release.
